Booking Terms and Conditions. 

By making the payment for your session/Package, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. 

 

This agreement made by and between Tiny Adventure Studios (PHOTOGRAPHER) and the CLIENT, contains the entire understanding between PHOTOGRAPHER and the CLIENT. There is no understanding between the parties verbal or otherwise than contained in this agreement. It supersedes all prior and simultaneous agreements between the parties. The only way to add or change this agreement is to do so in writing, signed by all the parties. If the parties want to waive one provision of this agreement, that does not mean that any other provision is also waived. The party against whom a waiver is sought must have signed the waiver in writing.

 

The term ‘PHOTOGRAPHER’, ’us’ or ‘we’  refers to the owner of the website whose registered office is at Tiny Adventure Studios, Suit 4 Maiden Lane Centre. Lower Earley, Reading RG6 3HD

The term ‘CLIENT’ or ’you’ refers to the user of the service. 

 

Tiny Adventure Stuidos may amend these Terms and Conditions at any time by posting the amended Terms and Conditions on the Tiny Adventure Website.

 

Photo Session and Ordering Session Terms & Conditions

  1. Payments – Full payment for the package/session is due upon booking. Your Session will not be confirmed until complete. 

  2. Online/Over the phone Session Purchases - If you change your mind, we will happily refund you as long as you request a refund in writing via email to info@tinyadventure.studio within 14 days of purchase. 

  3. Delivery of Finished Product – PHOTOGRAPHER will deliver the session(s)& print(s) as outlined above to the client and the client is welcome to purchase any additional product(s) at their Ordering Session. They are then to collect their photo(s) in person. Delivery available for additional cost. Printed materials (prints, frames, albums) take 3 weeks from order date. Please allow additional time during public holidays and throughout December. If the CLIENT require a specific turn around time, please discuss with the PHOTOGRAPHER at the time of booking. 

  4. High Resolution Files – Where the ownership of the high-resolution digital files (negatives) are included with the package/purchased, you agree to assume full responsibility for the care and condition of said digital files. PHOTOGRAPHER recommends storing copies in several locations, including off site storage. PHOTOGRAPHER is not responsible for the colour reproduction of enlargements from these files that been taken to non-professional and/or consumer type labs. PHOTOGRAPHER will keep a copy of your chosen files for 30 days after the date of the Ordering Session. Any rejected/not purchased images will be deleted after the Ordering Session due to storage. 

  5. Session Fees & rescheduling/cancelling - If illness or a situation prevents a photo session or ordering session from going a head, we will require a minimum 3 working days notice. If the client fails to give this notice the PHOTOGRAPHER will retain the full amount. There will be a £45 fee to reschedule the appointment. This is at the studios discretion. The PHOTOGRAPHER remains the right to reschedule due to illness, equipment malfunction or other situations outside their control. If the client decides to cancel a package/booking with more than 14 days notice of session, this will be refunded to the client. This can take up to 14 working days to refund into your bank account. 

  6. Packages & Session fees - Unless otherwise stated, your package includes your over the phone consultation prior to the session, Session time with the PHOTOGRAPHER, the images being professionally edited, your Ordering Session and one print from each session. No other digital images, prints or wall art is included, you can purchase these at an additional cost if you wish. There is no obligation or minimum spend.   7. Re-Shoots - Reshooting is at the discretion of the PHOTOGRAPHER. Reshoots will not be given for reasons such as poor choice of clothing, make-up, hair or by not following the recommendations of the PHOTOGRAPHER. 

  8. Personal recording/photographic devices -under no circumstance is the CLIENT or any agent of the CLIENT allowed to take photos or recording on their own device within the studio or during session. You will be given the use of a phone to take behind the scene photos which will be included as part of full USB purchases.

  9. Locations - Newborn sessions only take place at the Tiny Adventure Studio you have selected. We do not offer home visits. We do offer local outdoor location shoots for Maternity, Little Sitter, Cake Smash/Birthday and Family Session. Further distance available at request and additional cost.

  10. Pricing - Please ensure you have read all pricing guides prior to booking and understand the costs involved should you wish to purchase any products. These will have been sent via email when you initially enquired and with your confirmation emails. Individual products start at £49. The average client spend is between £400-£700 per session. There is no min spend requirement. 

  11. Editing - All images will be edited in the Tiny Adventure style as shown on our website & social media. We do not release unedited/RAW images under any circumstances. If you require bespoke editing, this can be achieved at an additional cost. 

  12. Ordering Session - Ordering Sessions take place at your chosen studio only. We do not offer Online Ordering Sessions or watermarked images as we do not feel this is the best way to view your art work or have the best customer experience. If you would prefer to not return for your Ordering Session, you can purchase the full USB over the phone/online and we can send everything to you online/by post.

  13. Payment Plans - Interest free payment plans are available, products will be ordered after payment in full has been received. We do not use a finance company and so cannot release products prior to payment.  

  14. Time Required – The customer should attempt to provide PHOTOGRAPHER with adequate time to perform the photo shoot. PHOTOGRAPHER cannot be held responsible for timelines that do not run on schedule, late arrivals and subsequently cut down the session time, thereby not providing the families with all the photos expected. PHOTOGRAPHER will also not be responsible for photos that are not completed due to the possibly uncooperative nature of the individuals to be included in any photographs. It is the CLIENTS responsibility to inform all participating parties, that the photos are occurring and as to where and when.

  15. Lateness - Please arrive for your session 10 minutes early. If the CLIENT is more than 10 mins late, we reserve the right to reschedule your appointment at a cost of £45 (Studios discretion)  

  16. Opening Hours - the studios are open Tuesday-Saturday 10am-6pm. Anything outside of this is classed as 'out of hours'. If our team has availability to take sessions 'out of hours' it is at their discretion and cannot be guaranteed until confirmed in writing. An additional deposit of £45 will be required and then refunded at your session.  

  17. Archive - The PHOTOGRAPHER will keep your selected/chosen images for 30 days after your Ordering Session. After this time they will be purged from the PHOTOGRAPHERS hard drives. Except any used for promotional material which will be determined by the PHOTOGRAPHER. Any unselected images will be purged from the PHOTOGRAPHERS hard drive after the CLIENTS ordering session. The PHOTOGRAPHER is not responsible for any loss or damage of images once they are sent to CLIENT, it is solely the CLIENTS responsibility. We recommend to store files on multiple computers/cloud storage service. 

  18. Ordering - The CLIENT may choose to have products printed through our professional printing services. Anything outside the package stated above is at an additional cost. If products are ordered with the PHOTOGRAPHER, it is the PHOTOGRAPHERS responsibility to ensure high quality and standards ready for the CLIENT to collect the items from the studio. We highly recommend collection, where the CLIENT will check their order and sign off before taking home. Delivery can be arranged at additional cost, the PHOTOGRAPHER is not responsible for any damage to the products once they are collect by the courier.

  19. Permits – Where required away from the studio, the client is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits required for photo locations and to make arrangements to have said permit available. This is only required for very particular locations, please discuss before hand. 

  20. Copyright/Usage – PHOTOGRAPHER will retain the copyright of the photographs and permission is hereby given for PHOTOGRAPHER to use these photos for future advertising, studio display, competition, exhibits and/or reproduction. It is illegal to copy, scan, download, alter, apply filters, sell or publish any image created by the PHOTOGRAPHER without their written consent. 

  21. Exclusive Rights – It is understood that PHOTOGRAPHER is the exclusive Official Photographer retained to perform the services requested in this contract. 

  22. Studio Liability – The PHOTOGRAPHER will take the utmost care with respect to safety and risk assessment during your session. The PHOTOGRAPHER is not responsible for any injuries inflicted upon any participating parties. The CLIENT is responsible for themselves and their children, releasing the PHOTOGRAPHER from any claims against themselves or the business. PHOTOGRAPHER will also take care in regard to the production, post-production and delivery of the photo(s). However, in the event PHOTOGRAPHER fails to comply with the terms in this contract, due to any event or act outside the control of PHOTOGRAPHER, is limited to the retainer fees ONLY.

  23. Travel Expenses – PHOTOGRAPHER charge additional travel fee for locations outside the local area, please discuss before session. 

  24. Fees – Card, BACs/Online and Cash payments available. No cheques. 

 

 

General Useful Session Information 

 

Maternity Sessions 

  • We recommend sessions take place between 30-38 weeks (at studios discretion)

  • Sessions last up to 1 hour

  • Normally people book us after their 20 week scan. 

  • We provide a lovely range of outfits for your session, included in your session fee. 

  • Little sitter sessions can take place locally on location (weather dependant) or in the studio. If you have a special location in mind, thats fine but there may be a travel fee. 

  • We highly recommend including partner and siblings (if applicable) at your session and is included in your session fee. 

  • If you are on our Bump to Baby Package, we recommend viewing your maternity images before little one arrives (at studios discretion)

 

Newborn Session

  • Newborn sessions take place within the first 21 days after birth (at studios discretion)

  • Sessions last up to 3 hours. Although this seems like a long time, the time goes very quickly and to create the images you have seen on our website and social media, we need every minute of this allocated time. We cannot guarantee the variety or exact shots without the whole 3 hours. Please arrive at least 10 mins early. 

  • Newborn sessions ONLY take place at the studios, no home visits. Everything to create those perfect images you see on our website is set up at the studio and it is much safer for them to take place within the studio. 

  • We work with baby to create the best images possible however we work strictly on a baby-led practice, so will follow their lead. This is for babies safety and comfort. For example, if they show signs that do not like to be wrapped, we will proceed with unwrapped posing. 

  • We highly recommend family photos at every session and is included in your session fee.

  • We provide the outfits, props and background for baby, included in your session fee. Parents generally prefer choosing what they feel comfortable in. 

  • The session does not include Hair and Make-up. 

 

Bouncing Babies

  • Bouncing Baby sessions take place from 4 weeks-5 months (at studios discretion)

  • Sessions last up to 2 hours

  • Bouncing Baby sessions ONLY take place at the studios, no home visits. Everything to create those perfect images you see on our website is set up at the studio and it is much safer for them to take place within the studio. 

  • We work with baby to create the best images possible however we work strictly on a baby-led practice, so will follow their lead. This is for babies safety and comfort. For example, if they show signs that do not like to be wrapped, we will proceed with unwrapped posing.

  • We highly recommend family photos at every session and is included in your session fee. 

  • We provide the outfits, props and background for baby, included in your session fee. Parents generally prefer choosing what they feel comfortable in. 

  • The session does not include Hair and Make-up.

 

Little Sitter

  • Little Sitter sessions generally take place around 6-9 months old (at studios discretion)

  • Sessions last up to 1 hour

  • Little sitter sessions can take place locally on location (weather dependant) or in the studio. If you have a special location in mind, thats fine but there may be a travel fee. 

  • We highly recommend family photos at every session and is included in your session fee. 

  • We provide the outfits, props and background for baby, included in your session fee. Parents generally prefer choosing what they feel comfortable in. 

  • The session does not include Hair and Make-up.

 

Cake Smash

  • Cake Smash sessions generally take place around 11-13 months old (at studios discretion)

  • Sessions last up to 1 hour

  • Cake Smash sessions can take place locally on location (weather dependant) or in the studio. If you have a special location in mind, thats fine but there may be a travel fee.

  • Please check your package to confirm if a cake is included. Where the cake is included, we will pass on any details of allergies to our cake provider. If you child has sever allergies, we recommend bringing your own cake. 

  • We highly recommend family photos at every session and is included in your session fee.

  • We provide the outfits, props and background for little one, included in your session fee. Parents generally prefer choosing what they feel comfortable in. 

  • The session does not include Hair and Make-up.

 

Family Session

  • Cake Smash sessions can take place at any time. If apart of the the Baby to family package,  generally around 18 months old.

  • Sessions last up to 1 hour

  • Family sessions can take place locally on location (weather dependant) or in the studio. If you have a special location in mind, thats fine but there may be a travel fee.

  • Family Sessions have to include the whole house hold. We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel the session if a family member is missing from the session. 

  • Families with over 6 people will require a longer session at an additional fee. 

  • The session does not include Hair and Make-up.
