Hi! We are Katy & James and the two little beauties are our babies - the REASON we started Tiny Adventure Studios.

I (Katy) am NOT a fan of being in front of the camera - I have always stayed behind it! However, I realised how much I was missing as our beautiful girl was growing and I would never want any parent to miss out on this too.
​
Having been in the photography industry for over a decade, we felt that there was something missing when it came to capturing the incredible journey from pregnancy and beyond, so we decided to create it! We pride ourselves on our client care and experience through this once in a lifetime journey you are taking combining this with award winning photography, purpose built studios, upfront pricing with no pushy sales techniques.

We are also huge advocates for the positive birth experience and newborn safety within the photography industry. I was SHOCKED when finding out the Newborn Photography industry is unregulated. ANYONE can pick up a baby and camera with NO training. As a mummy of (nearly!) 2 babies this terrified me. I want all our babies and parents to be in the best hands, and so our team is strictly trained in newborn photography safety and handling along with paediatric first aid. Even if you choose to book another photography studio, stay safe and check they have these qualifications.

- Newborn Photography is unregulate, which means anyone can claim to be a newborn photographer, with no training - which is very scary when it comes to newborn safety (speaking as a mum myself!) So all of our teams are insured, newborn safety trained, newborn photography trained and have a paediatric first aid certificate.

- Covid Safe.
Even with restrictions relaxing we are keeping the same precautions. Everything is cleaned between sessions, team members still test twice a week, temperature at the door taken and hand sanitising stations throughout the studios.

- We have purpose built newborn photography studios.
We have designed these to give you everything you need for a safe, comfortable space to create the VERY best images for you.
No need to stress about finding a space in your home, we have it all covered for you.
Walking in, relax with a cup of tea and we do all the work.

- Baby led newborn sessions.
We allow 3 hours for your newborn session. This may seem a lot but you will be amazed how quickly it goes!
This is to allow plenty of time for you to relax, feed and cuddle baby at a easy pace to create the award winning images we produce.

- Our INCREDIBLE props, outfits and backdrops
We have a stunning range of maternity gowns, newborn and Sitter outfits, props and backgrounds from beautiful designers across Europe and America.
All included in your session fee.
- Personalise your session & get to know your photographer.
We arrange a phone/zoom call before your session to walk you through how to get the most from your time in the photoshoot through to personalising it to you. That could include tips on what to wear, incorporating your hobbies, family pet or even working with your home decor for the perfect frame to hang on your wall.

Thats right, all our photographers are MULTI award winning - plus they are just the loveliest people too:)
- No minimum Spend.
We believe our work speaks for its self.
You can decide if you would like to purchase anything once you see the images, its totally up to you and prices start from £49.

All prices are given upfront so families generally tell us what they want even before they come in!
We feel this creates the best experience for everyone.

- No restrictions on which images you can have as digitals.
Hard to believe, but there are studios that will not let you have certain images as digitals. Not us.
We understand that you want to be able to send them off to family, show them off on social media and have them to hand to print as you like.

Tiny Adventure developed into what it is today due to Katy and James' own Tiny Adventure - their daughter, Lyra, and now their youngest, Jack, too!
