Hi, I'm Kat
I'm Kat, mum of 6 children. I know crazy right! But it means I have a lot of experience with children, two of them are SEN children too so I'm pretty clued up on being able to handle children with extra needs.
All my life I've loved taking photos, I was in the Royal Navy for 8 years and wanted to branch out to the photography side and did some work in Sierra Leone, flying in a helicopter with a Nikon!
So when I started having children all I wanted to do was capture all the memories, which led me to start photography because memories are everything! Babies are only so little for a short period of time and what better way to help other families capture those memories. My passion for photography grew and grew. I started out with a cheap camera from ebay just taking pictures of my twins to then venturing into the world of newborn photography. I've studied for hours upon hours getting it right, making sure I know the safe poses and how to do them safely, lighting techniques, props...I have a lot! wrapping...which believe it or not was so hard at first! I know people say I make it look easy! And still to this day, I'm still educating myself to give the best.
I am also a Breastfeeding peer supporter (Level 2 qualified) so always happy to help with with any breast feeding tips too!
I am a holder of several awards, including top 20 newborn photography of 2023 by Legacy Photography Awards, and many others in their sub categories, and i'm still aiming to get 1st place, But I'm happy with the several 2nd and 3rd places!

Believe it or not, the newborn photography industry is unregulated.
But not here at Tiny Adventure Studios! I am trained in peadiatric first aid, qualified in newborn posing, safety posing trained and insured.
Your little ones safety is my number one priority!

My studio is fully equipped with everything needed for your photoshoot, from dresses for maternity sessions, the props for newborn sessions through to colourful sets for Cake Smash sessions. All you need to do is come along to my studio, I take care of the rest!

In person viewing experience
After your session, You'll view your images. I love doing this in person at the studio as we can chat through your images, ask any questions about the stunning products I offer and order your images. Plus I get to see how much little one has grown! Perfect!

- These packages CAN be purchased as gifts. If you require a e-voucher, please let us know.
- Session needs to be used within 6 months of purchase date. If Baby is due over this, please let us know and we will adjust the expiry date.
- Package includes your session time with your photographer, phone consultation beforehand AND two MATCHING 8x6 prints (no frame) of your choice.
- We have a beautiful selection of dresses for maternity and outfits and props for other sessions, all included in your package, no extra cost.
- We recommend Maternity sessions between 30-40 weeks and Newborn sessions within the first month where possible for the best results.
- The package does not include Hair and Make-up.
- No extra cost for siblings, partners, grandparents or pets to be involved in the session!
- PLEASE NOTE Sessions & images are non transferable.
- Cake for Cake Smash & fruit for fruit smash not included due to allergies.
- We will contact you via phone and/or email within 2 working days to book in your time slot for your session, please check your spam for emails from info@tinyadventure.studio. (please note we are closed on Mondays and public holidays)
- If you change your mind, we will happily refund you as long as you request a refund in writing via email to info@tinyadventure.studio within 14 days of purchase. Please note the refund will be subject to a deduction for transaction fees.
- Newborn sessions ONLY take place at the studios, no home visits. Everything to create those perfect images you see on our website is set up at the studio and it is much safer for them to take place within the studio.
- Maternity, Little Sitter and family sessions can take place locally on location (weather dependent) or in the studio. If you have a special location in mind, thats fine but there will be a travel fee.
- We do not offer online viewings due to theft and AI destroying the photography industry.
- If you would like to buy anything else, there is no obligation but you can do so at your ordering session. This is where you come back to the studio to view your images, choose your 3 included and can purchase any extras you would like. This takes place around 1-2 weeks after your photoshoot. We do not offer online galleries.
- If you would like to purchase anything additionally, prices start from £49. Interest free payment plans available. No minimum spend or obligation to spend. Full price list will be sent to you with your confirmation email. or please contact us before booking to discuss. Please take a look at this once your receive it, prior to coming in for your session
- If you would like more details about products and pricing prior to booking, please call or message us and we would love to chat through with you.
- additional cost for postage of products or free collection.
- This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount and is non transferable. Prints in package are non-transferable.
- Family sessions must include all members of your house hold at a minimum- you can even bring grandparents and pets along if you wish!
- All images will be edited in our style. We do not release raw/unedited images.
- if you miss any session/cancel with less than two working days notice there will be a £45 session fee to rebook, which is down to the studio managers discretion.
- Please note there will a an admin charge for refunds due to the charges from the bank/online payment systems etc.
- Please note we can only include PETS in outdoor shoots (not in the studio, we do apologise)

First Birthday!
Maternity Session - The perfect session to CELEBRATE this incredible time! This is often booked around 20 weeks pregnant and the session ideally takes place from 30 week up to birth. We have a selection of beautiful outfits all ready for you at the studio. Also make sure you bring along partners, other children or even the family dog! Takes place at the studio or locally outside.
Newborn Session - We LOVE relaxing, baby led newborn sessions in our purpose built studio. This is why we allow lots of time for feeds, cuddles and nappy changes while capturing those images you will treasure forever. Ideally within the first 21 days of birth and we always recommend having family photos at the same time! We have everything you need, you just need to arrive at the studio.
Little Sitter Session - this can take place anytime from when they are sitting up confidently, generally around 6-8 months. These sessions are great fun! Lots of giggles, funny expressions and tummy time to capture their personality! We have a lovely range of outfits and props ready for you. Takes place at the studio or locally on location.
Cake Smash Session - Time to get messy! We provide the background & props, (included in the price) you just need to bring a cake and little one well... does what the session suggests! Smashes the cake!
Followed by a "splash session" in the bath.
If you would rather you can have a portrait session.
If baby is already here, we exchange the maternity session for a Family Photoshoot when little one is about 18 months old. (Our baby to Family Package) This can take place at the studio or locally outside.
